Displaced Central Gondarians are returning to their villages in Ethiopia

GONDAR, #Ethiopia (BKNN) – Central Gondar Zone announced that the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who were displaced from Central Gondar, Chilga Woreda, Aikel town last year have started to return to their villages.
The Central Gondar Zone noted that the IDPs were returning after a council of elders, scholars, and other members of the community reached an agreement with residents. When they returned to their hometown, they were greeted by a warm welcome from the residents, who said that the clashes were part of a conspiracy by a few political businessmen.
