Massive Smoke Plume Caused by Overzealous Field Fire in Boonville, Missouri near Interstate 70
BOONVILLE, MISSOURI (BKNN) – Saturday afternoon a massive smoke plume could be seen billowing from somewhere in the town of Boonville, Missouri from afar. Upon further investigation and interviews with local sources, it was noted that the fire had started and grew out of control.
The fire burned for several hours sending black smoke and ash into the air near the local high school. At the time of writing this article no injuries were reported. The fire will most likely burn out on it’s own without further issue.
