UPDATE: Frank James has been charged with a federal terror offense.

U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Breon Peace, announced charges against Frank R. James, 62, at a press conference.

Patrol officers from the 9th Precinct downtown arrested him, per their statement.

Suspected #Brooklyn subway shooter Frank James was arrested by patrol officers in the East Village/Manhattan in New York City on Wednesday according to a statement released by #NYPD.
