Yesterday, President Joe Biden reiterated his campaign pledge to put the first Black woman ever on the U.S. Supreme Court.
This is a hugely important step, and as President Biden said, long overdue. But make no mistake: This is also a direct threat to white #patriarchy, and the backlash has already begun.
In fact, #TuckerCarlson (Tucker the #Fucker Carlson!) just spent an entire news segment baselessly attacking various Black women being considered for the post. And the mainstream corporate media’s track record on covering women in positions of power isn’t much better, especially when it comes to women of color.
