News 1st: Expert Fauci vs Insane Trump as Effort to Discredit Fauci Backfires
Dr. Fauci was appointed director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in 1984.
He oversees an extensive portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat established infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis, and malaria as well as emerging diseases such as Ebola, Zika, and most recently the #Coronavirus. Fauci is America’s top expert of infectious diseases and one of the top experts worldwide. Yet somehow, Trump seems to think he knows better and has tried to discredit Dr. #Fauci for nothing less than political reasons. Dr. Fauci has recently been noted in a recent interview with The Atlantic as calling the president’s behavior bizarre; he has also said that not only is it a poor reflection of the president, but he also noted that this will only hurt Trump.
Trump thinks that anything he says become truth, as do some of his staunchest followers. He however is not God, a magician, or anything of the sort and does not dictate reality. The entire country should sue him when he is out of office for misconduct and needlessly putting American lives at risk.
